Abstract
This paper (Ch. 6 Systemic Therapy as Transformative Practice) is a kind of reflection on the writers work within a refugee family therapy project at their Faculty’s clinical centre through connecting it to the work of French philosopher Jacques Derrida on the encounter with the stranger and his call of welcoming and hospitality.
Many thanks to both writers, who via our colleague Kelly Patrikou offered this paper to Metalogos. We also thank the Editors Imelda McCarthy and Gail Simon for granting permission to translate and upload this text of their book Systemic Therapy as Transformative Practice.
