John Morss

John Morss BSc (Hons) PhD LLB(Hons) grew up in the UK and attended Sheffield and Edinburgh Universities before lecturing in Psychology at the University of Ulster. He was Senior Lecturer in Education at the University of Otago NZ, before training in Law and becoming Associate Head of School and Senior Lecturer in International Law at Deakin University. He is the sole author of 3 books, co-author of one, and co-editor of 3 as well as author of numerous chapters and articles. He is currently Adjunct Professor at La Trobe Law School and Honorary Fellow at Deakin Law School.

Maria Nichterlein

Maria Nichterlein is a psychologist who was born and trained professionally in Chile. She did her postgraduate studies in Systemic Therapy in Santiago in the mid-1980s, migrating later to Australia. She completed her PhD in Australia in 2013. She has 40 years of working in the clinic in different positions and countries. She has been an individual, couples and family therapist; a counsellor, a psychologist and a therapist as well as a supervisor, manager and teacher. She now works only in private practice and spends her free time writing and tending her garden.
