Abstract

I am honoured to be invited to contribute to this special issue of Metalogos to celebrate the life and work of Petros Polychronis, former Director of the Athenian Institute of Anthropos. The generous invitation to offer a personal reflection on my life as a systemic therapist has provided me with an opportunity to put into words something that has been on my mind for some time. Reflections can be turned into stories. The following story is drawn from images and recollections that have helped shape the values and the direction of my professional and personal life.
