Abstract

The article emphasizes the need for self-understanding of the Greek subject to surpass our current social crisis. The contribution of Metalogos to attain this self-understanding is considered worthwhile. For that reason, the article proposes the journal, instead of being exclusively about Psychotherapy, to be additionally able to develop empirical materials of Psychotherapy for the social studies of the Greek family, social relations and behaviors. It also argues a similar reformation of Metalogos will unavoidably open the discussion for questions of systems ontology and methodology, as well as of epistemology; thus, the subjective and objective preconditions of the modern Greeks to understand themselves and the society in which they live and create will be investigated in depth.
