Maria Borcsa

Maria Borcsa, Ph.D., is a Professor of Clinical Psychology at the University of Applied Sciences Nordhausen (UASN), Germany, a Cognitive - Behavioral Therapy (CBT) psychotherapist, family therapist, trainer and supervisor. She is also the author and (co)editor of numerous scientific articles and books published in German, English, French, Greek, Italian and Spanish.

Valeria Pomini

Valeria Pomini, Ph.D., is a licensed Clinical Psychologist and Psychotherapist. She lives and works in Greece, where she co - founded the Family Therapy Unit (1988) in Department A of the Psychiatric Hospital, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, where she worked until her retirement in 2023.

Abstract

This is a collective work in English, from the European Family Therapy Association Series, published by Springer, under the editorship of Maria Borcsa and Valeria Pomini.

This is the second time Metalogos has participated in a Springer publication. In 2019, Metalogos was invited and included in the Encyclopedia of Couple and Family Therapy (Editors: Jay Lebow, Anthony Chambers, Douglas C. Breunlin. Springer). As stated, Metalogos "integrates seven decades of innovative developments" in the systemic field.

In 2025, at the invitation of the editors, Metalogos participated in the writing of the chapter "Digital Journals in the Systemic Community". The members of the editorial team Yanna Karanikolaou, Dimitris Mouzas and Fany Triantafillou, in collaboration with the members of the editorial team of the journal “Systemic Thinking and Psychotherapy”, Katia Charalampaki and Nikos Marketos, participated.
