Abstract

The discussion that followed Ms. Moureli’s speech evolved into a lively, multifaceted dialogue on the issues of justice, responsibility, and collective action. Participants reflected on whether there is still someone or something we can truly trust, how we can be sure it does not serve other interests, and—most importantly—where we should seek justice: from institutions or from within ourselves.

Through the interventions, views emerged concerning personal responsibility in the face of inertia and “depressive resignation,” as well as the collective need for encounter, dialogue, and resistance. The Tempi tragedy became a reference point for the conversation about justice—not only as punishment but as systemic change and social vigilance.

Ms. Moureli emphasized the need for thought to lead to action and new ideas that inspire new practices, stressing that therapists should not remain confined within the therapeutic framework but should go “out,” into the world, actively participating in social processes.

The participants’ contributions highlighted the tension between hope and disappointment, collective and individual responsibility, institutional and human justice. A common thread running through the discussion was the belief that change, however small it begins, can be born from an active minority—through continuous dialogue, awareness, and human connection.
