Abstract, for the video

Petros Polychronis, at the 31st EASE Leadership Conference (October 29-31, 2020), with the theme "Terra Incognita – Leadership for Antifragility", in discussion with Haridimos Tsoukas, talks about things that Fritjof Capra teaches us through his work. This video was made by K. Papachristopoulos, especially for the webinar entitled "Fritjof Capra and the Hidden Connections" (07.05.2022) within the framework of events planned to take place in the next period, honouring the work and memory of Petros Polychronis. These events, under the theme "The man, the therapist and the citizen as a Whole – Resonances as a counter-gift to Petros Polychronis", are organized by the Athenian Institute of Anthropos (AIA) and include speeches, webinars and open discussions with international and Greek participation.

The book you are holding in your hands is dedicated to the memory of Petros Polychronis, who proposed its publication in the series of titles that Indiktos publishes in collaboration with the Athenian Institute of Anthropos (AIA – Center of Study, Research, Training and Development of Applications of the Social Sciences for Human).

The author Fritjof Capra is one of the systemic thinkers whom Petros Polyachronis followed and appreciated. The text had been translated since 2008, but Peter wanted it to be published together with an extended discussion with the author, which his many cares and his illness did not allow. Shortly before his death, Petros asked me to proceed to the edition and he would prepare a draft of questions which he would send to the author. The rapid progression of his illness prevented him from completing it even this time.

Thus, shortly after his unexpected departure, his wife and associate Kyriaki together with his associate Konstantinos Papachristopoulos edited this incomplete draft of questions sent to the author Fritjof Capra, who in turn replied by noting at the end of his reply message that: "I was very moved by Petros' letter, and enjoyed the opportunity it gave me to reflect on his interesting questions." We publish, therefore, this unfinished conversation as a short introduction to the Greek edition, but also as a minimal example of Petros Polychronis' care and concern for the Other. A constant care and concern that made our beloved, distinguished friend unique and indelible in our memory.
