Philip Keaney

Climate activist, farmer, Green, de Borda & Clanwilliam Institutes.

Phil was co-founder of the Clanwilliam Institute in Dublin in 1982 and head of training there from 1986 - 2006. He helped to start the Irish Green Party in the early 80s and now is chair of the Board of An Taisce – The National Trust for Ireland, an environmental NGO.

Kostas Papachristopoulos, Athenian Institute of Anthropos Associate, holds a PhD in Work-Organizational Psychology. He is a systemic psychotherapist and researcher in themes such as rewards and creativity, motivation, and systemic thinking in organizations.

Text Abstract

Through the medium of an imagined conversation with Petros, Phil issues a challenge to the systemic psychotherapy community asserting that without a commitment to eco-activism in every aspect of our lives – personal, professional and political – all our other worthy initiatives will be undone by the rising tide of extreme weather events, biodiversity collapse and ecocide.
