Abstract

This video – a small tribute to Petros Polychronis – started from my desire to punctuate, focus and make a reference to the concept of "sacred". It ended up being a mash-up of Peter's and Gregory Bateson's ideas! The echoes of both thinkers' thoughts await to be connected and completed by the viewers' cognitive and emotional responses.

For this video, we used excerpts from the book's Chapter 9: Epistemology's Ethics in a world of transition. A dialogue with Petros Polychronis; and the Book's Epilogue, which is the last discussion with Petros. Some excerpts came from Petros Polychronis' speech at the ELESYTH Conference (2019).
