Abstract

The following contribution aims at examining whether, in this time of global crisis and extremely reduced economic and individual resources, it is still possible to carry our family therapy sessions within public service. The abstract focuses in particular on working procedures implemented by the Clinical Psychology Unit of the Health Service of the Autonomous Province of Trento, Italy.

The article will put forward a possible model of therapeutic treatment, based on the “joint therapy” of a systemic therapist collaborating with a psychodynamic therapist, taking as a theoretical framework the philosopher Morin's theory of complexity, according to which it is necessary to develop an idea which takes into account both the individual and the system he belongs to.
